“Astral Esther” episode review: what happens?
The episode’s central hook is classic Haunted Hotel: Esther’s curiosity about the supernatural goes further than she intended. After an astral-projection accident, Katherine and Shayna have to help her locate her physical body. The danger escalates when another supernatural presence becomes involved with Esther’s unattended body. Meanwhile, Nathan’s outing with Ben and Abaddon introduces a mermaid-filled lake and a separate dose of paranormal chaos.
