Quick answer: If a free UGC reward in Roblox The Hollow will not claim, save five pieces of evidence before retrying: the reward and its requirement, the exact claim error, the badge or completed quest, your ticket balance if relevant, and the result after returning to the hub. Add the approximate time, device, Roblox username (only in a private support ticket), and steps that reproduce the problem. A screenshot documents what happened; it does not by itself prove a platform-wide bug.

Updated October 26, 2026: The Day 2 reports are no longer new, but claim failures remain worth documenting carefully. Roblox's official event announcement says The Hollow runs through the Halloween finale and reward collection continues until noon Pacific on November 2. Public reports on the Developer Forum describe some users unable to claim items despite having badges, and other reports mention ticket or reward progression problems. Those reports are evidence of individual issues, not proof that every account is affected.

Five screenshots to capture before reporting a free UGC claim bug

1. The reward card and its exact requirement

Before pressing Claim, capture the whole reward card so the item name, requirement, progress indicator and claim control are visible together. If the requirement mentions a quest, badge, ticket amount or a separate interaction, keep that text in frame. This helps distinguish a genuine claim failure from a reward that is not yet eligible.

If you completed the objective already, take a second screenshot of the completed quest or badge. Do not crop away the item name or progress status just to make the image smaller.

2. The exact error after you press Claim

Take a screenshot immediately after the failed interaction. Keep the error message, reward name and surrounding controls visible. If the message disappears too quickly, write down the exact wording and say that you could not capture it. Avoid repeatedly clicking a button that appears to be processing; repeated attempts can make it harder to identify the first failure.

Where possible, capture the screen before and after the attempt. A clear before-and-after pair is more useful than a cropped error with no context.

3. The badge or completed quest that should unlock it

Some Hollow rewards are connected to badges earned in participating experiences. Capture the relevant badge or the completed objective, and make sure it belongs to the same Roblox account you are using in the event hub. If the reward panel says a badge is missing, the badge page and reward card together can help support see the mismatch.

On October 23, players posted reports about a UGC claim that did not work despite a claimed badge and about ticket totals not updating after earning badges. These are community reports—not a verified count of affected accounts or confirmation of one cause. See the original UGC claim report on the Roblox Developer Forum and the ticket and item-grant report.

4. The ticket balance or inventory before and after

If the issue is missing tickets, capture the displayed balance before and after the reward action when possible. If the claim appears to succeed but the item is missing, check the correct avatar inventory category and search the item name if available, then capture what you see. Do not assume that a delayed inventory refresh means the reward is permanently lost.

Record whether you returned to the regular event hub, reopened the reward panel, or rejoined the experience. The exact sequence matters more than a vague statement that “the item disappeared.”

5. The report confirmation

If you submit a support request or a Developer Forum bug report, save the confirmation screen or topic URL. A submitted report proves that you sent information; it does not mean Roblox has confirmed the cause or guaranteed a fix. Keep private support correspondence private and redact personal information before sharing screenshots publicly.

What to write in your report

Use a concise, reproducible description instead of guessing at the cause. Include:

  • Experience: The Hollow, plus the participating game if the objective took place elsewhere.
  • Reward: The exact item name and the requirement shown in the live hub.
  • Time: Approximate date, time and time zone of the failed attempt.
  • Device: PC, iPhone, Android, console or other supported device, plus whether the app was updated.
  • Steps: What you did from joining the experience through pressing Claim.
  • Result: Exact error text, whether the badge appeared, and whether the ticket balance or inventory changed.
  • Retries: Whether reopening the panel or rejoining once changed the result.

Do not include your password, one-time verification code, browser cookie, payment details, private messages or another player's personal information. Never use an unofficial “claim fixer,” script or website that asks you to log in outside Roblox.

What to try before repeating a long quest

  1. Read the live reward card again and confirm every requirement.
  2. Check that the correct Roblox account has the badge or completed objective.
  3. Return to the regular The Hollow hub and reopen the reward panel.
  4. Wait briefly for the panel or ticket balance to refresh, then check your inventory.
  5. If nothing changes, leave and rejoin once through the official Roblox experience page.
  6. If the claim still fails, stop repeating the same long quest and submit the evidence through an official channel.

Rejoining can refresh a stale session, but it cannot guarantee a fix for a server-side or experience-specific problem. Roblox's official Contact Us guidance asks players to identify the affected device and describe the issue. Its screenshot instructions explain how to capture and save evidence in an experience.

Are The Hollow free UGC claim bugs officially confirmed?

Public reports establish that some players have encountered claim or ticket-credit problems. They do not establish how many accounts are affected, prove that every reward is broken, or confirm one universal fix. Roblox's official event announcement confirms that The Hollow awards UGC through quests and that reward collection continues until noon Pacific on November 2, 2026, but the announcement does not confirm a platform-wide claim outage.

Check the official Roblox event announcement and the Roblox Status page for current platform information. An operational status page does not rule out a bug in one event or participating experience.

Bottom line

For a Day 2 or later Hollow free UGC claim failure, the strongest report is a small evidence pack: reward card, exact error, completed badge or quest, ticket/inventory status, and report confirmation. Add the time, device and reproducible steps; hide private information; and use official Roblox channels. Be clear about what you personally observed, and do not call an individual report a confirmed event-wide outage.
