Apple TV has renewed the Emmy-winning spy series Slow Horses for an eighth season just as Season 6 begins streaming.
Season 6 premiered on September 16, 2026, adapting Mick Herron’s novels Joe Country and Slough House. Gary Oldman returns as the gruff Jackson Lamb, alongside Kristin Scott Thomas and Jack Lowden.
The early Season 8 renewal comes after the show won an Emmy for Outstanding Directing in a Drama Series. Season 8 will adapt the novel Clown Town and will see Lamb and MI5 director Diana Taverner face off in their most intense confrontation yet.
Apple TV praised the series for its unique acerbic take on the world of espionage. Season 7 was already previously confirmed.
