South Park returns tonight for Season 29 under its temporary new title South America.
The long-running Comedy Central series premieres its latest season on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The premiere episode is titled “South American Biker Gangs.”
According to the official logline, the episode follows what happens when e-bikes arrive in the town: “When e-bikes arrive in South America, the boys take over the streets and the parents of South America can hardly recognize South America.”
Creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone announced the South America rebrand earlier this month as a satirical response to geographic name changes and tech companies updating maps. The joke appears to continue into the new season.
New episodes will air every other Wednesday: September 16, September 30, October 14, October 28, November 11, and November 25. Episodes become available to stream on Paramount+ the following day in the United States, Canada, and Australia.
South Park has won multiple Emmy Awards for Outstanding Animated Program and remains one of the longest-running animated series on television. Season 29 continues under the creators’ multi-year deal with Paramount.
Fans can watch the premiere live on Comedy Central or stream it the next day on Paramount+.
