Dehydration can make workouts feel harder and recovery slower. At the same time, you do not need to force extreme amounts of water.
Basic Guidelines
- Start the day with a glass of water
- Drink regularly throughout the day, not only during workouts
- Have some water before, during, and after training
- Increase intake on hot days or longer sessions
Signs You May Need More
Dark urine, headaches, unusual fatigue, or feeling dizzy during exercise can be signals. Listen to your body.
Practical Approach
Carry a bottle with you. Sip during the day. Around workouts, drink enough so you feel comfortable — not so much that you feel bloated.
Bottom Line
Consistent daily hydration matters more than chugging a huge amount right before training. Keep it simple and steady.
