For U.S. Roblox players · Updated October 23, 2026 · By Shivam Das
Quick answer: Free players can join Roblox’s The Hollow event and earn quest rewards, but the classic Headless Horseman bundle is a separate paid Marketplace item listed at 31,000 Robux. Roblox’s official announcement also names a separate limited-time item called the Hollow Horseman. Do not assume those two names refer to the same product, and do not expect the classic 31,000-Robux bundle to unlock by completing free event quests.
Bottom line for free players: You can still play The Hollow and pursue its quest rewards without buying the classic Headless Horseman. Check the exact Marketplace listing before spending anything.
Is the 31,000 Robux Horseman bundle free in The Hollow?
No free unlock for the classic Headless Horseman has been announced in Roblox’s official The Hollow event announcement. Roblox says players can earn exclusive UGC and other rewards by completing quests, while separately identifying Halloween avatar items for sale on the Marketplace. Those are different reward paths.
The official event began on October 22, 2026, and the public reward-collection window runs until November 2. That deadline applies to event rewards; it does not guarantee that every paid Marketplace item will remain available until the same time.

Headless Horseman vs. Hollow Horseman: the name mix-up
Roblox’s October 2026 newsroom post calls out the Hollow Horseman among limited-time Halloween Marketplace items. The classic Headless Horseman is a long-running Roblox bundle associated with the headless-avatar look and a 31,000-Robux list price. The official event announcement does not say they are the same item or that the new Hollow Horseman costs 31,000 Robux.
Before you buy, open the exact product page and check the item name, creator, included parts and current price. A social post that says “Horseman” without a direct listing can easily refer to a different item.
What can free players do instead?
If you do not want to spend Robux, focus on the free event path. Roblox says The Hollow includes a new maze and monster as the event progresses, with quest completion earning exclusive UGC and other rewards. The announcement lists nine participating horror experiences, including DOORS, Piggy and 99 Nights in the Forest.
- Enter the official The Hollow experience and follow the live quest prompts.
- Check the reward panel after each quest and claim completed rewards before the November 2 deadline.
- Do not assume a paid Marketplace bundle is a quest reward unless the official in-game reward screen explicitly says so.
- Avoid websites promising a free 31,000-Robux bundle, “Headless generators,” or account verification to claim it. Never share your password or one-time codes.
Does Roblox Plus make the classic bundle cheaper?
Some recent reports and community posts describe a Roblox Plus discount for eligible avatar purchases, but discounts and eligibility can change. Roblox’s official The Hollow announcement confirms Plus early access and event-specific benefits; it does not specify a Headless Horseman discount amount. If your account shows a discount, check the final price in the official checkout before deciding whether a subscription is worthwhile.
Should free players bother looking?
Yes, if you mean looking at the event and checking its free rewards. No, if you mean grinding quests to unlock the classic 31,000-Robux Headless Horseman. The event and Marketplace are separate. You can enjoy The Hollow without buying an expensive cosmetic, and there is no reason to spend money based on a rumor that a paid bundle will become free.
If you are considering the classic bundle, use the official listing as the source of truth. The Marketplace currently lists Headless Horseman in search results, but the exact price and availability shown to your account at checkout are the final check.
Frequently asked questions
Can free players get the 31,000 Robux Headless Horseman from The Hollow?
There is no official announcement that the classic Headless Horseman bundle is a free The Hollow quest reward. Roblox describes quest rewards and paid Marketplace items separately.
Is Hollow Horseman the same as Headless Horseman?
Do not assume they are the same. Roblox’s official event announcement names Hollow Horseman as a limited-time Halloween Marketplace item, while Headless Horseman is the classic bundle. Check each item’s own listing.
Is the classic Headless Horseman still 31,000 Robux?
Roblox Marketplace search results show the classic bundle at 31,000 Robux. Confirm the live listing and your account’s final checkout price before purchasing.
Can Roblox Plus make it cheaper?
Some reports describe subscriber discounts, but the official event announcement does not confirm a specific Headless Horseman discount. Check the price shown in your own Roblox account.
When do The Hollow’s free rewards expire?
Roblox says players can continue collecting The Hollow rewards until November 2, 2026, at noon Pacific Standard Time. Paid Marketplace items may have separate availability windows.
Are free Headless Horseman generators safe?
No. Treat generators and sites requesting your Roblox password or verification codes as scams. Use only official Roblox pages and never share account credentials.

Final verdict
For free players, The Hollow’s quest rewards are the sensible target; the classic Headless Horseman is a separate high-cost Marketplace purchase. Do not confuse it with the newly named Hollow Horseman, and do not trust claims that a free quest or third-party site will unlock the 31,000-Robux bundle. Verify the exact listing before spending.
