For U.S. Roblox players · October 29, 2026 · By Shivam Das
Quick answer: Some Roblox players are reporting a one-time Marketplace offer that can cover an avatar item priced up to 175 Robux. It is not a universal giveaway, and not every account will see it. Roblox has officially described testing Roblox-funded Marketplace offers for selected users, but the exact 175-Robux offer and its availability can vary by account. Check the offer inside Roblox itself before choosing an item.
The smartest way to use a one-time avatar offer is to choose something you will actually wear—not simply the most expensive item that fits the limit. A versatile hair style, face accessory, hat, or animation can add more value than a flashy item that matches only one outfit. Here is how to check the promotion, compare options, and avoid lookalike scams.
Is the free 175 Robux item offer real?
Reports from Roblox players and community news accounts on October 28–29 describe a one-time offer for selected accounts that can make an eligible avatar item up to 175 Robux free. This is being reported as an account-specific Marketplace offer—not a public promo code that anyone can redeem.
Roblox’s Developer Forum previously explained that it was testing Roblox-funded offers on avatar Marketplace items. The company said eligible users may see offers in Marketplace banners, notifications, or at checkout, and that Roblox funds the promotion. That official description supports the existence of targeted Marketplace offers, but it does not guarantee that every player receives this exact 175-Robux offer.

How to check whether your account has the offer
- Open Roblox directly. Launch the official app or type the official Roblox website address yourself. Do not follow a random “claim 175 Robux” link from a comment or direct message.
- Check Marketplace notifications and banners. Roblox says eligible offers can appear in Marketplace banners, notifications, or at checkout.
- Open an avatar item in the normal purchase flow. If the promotion is attached to your account, check whether the offer is clearly shown before confirming the purchase.
- Read the limit and expiry text. Confirm whether it is one-time use, the maximum discount, eligible item types, and any expiry shown on your own account.
- Confirm the final price before tapping Buy. Never assume the discount applies until the Roblox checkout screen shows it.
If no offer appears in your account, there is no verified workaround to force it on. Reports from other players do not mean your account is eligible. The available official information also does not establish that Roblox Plus is required for this particular reported offer.
Best item types to consider under 175 Robux
Because Marketplace prices and availability change, this is a value checklist—not a claim that specific listings are currently priced below 175 Robux for every user. Use the price shown in your own Roblox account and preview each item before spending the offer.
1. A versatile hair or head accessory
Choose a color and silhouette that works with several outfits you already own. Simple shapes are often easier to reuse than a highly themed accessory. Check whether the item clips through your avatar’s head or conflicts with a hat you regularly wear.
2. A face accessory with broad compatibility
Glasses, masks, and small face accessories can change a look without requiring a complete outfit rebuild. Preview the item from the front and side, and make sure it fits the face style you use most often.
3. A simple hat or shoulder accessory
A hat or shoulder piece can be a good pick if it complements more than one avatar style. Check the creator, thumbnail, category, price, and whether it is a normal Marketplace item rather than a resale listing with different terms.
4. An animation pack—only if the offer allows it
Animations may have more everyday impact than a decorative item, but do not assume every offer covers animation packs. Choose one only if the checkout page explicitly applies the promotion and you know it works with your preferred avatar setup.
5. A seasonal item you will use after Halloween
Halloween accessories can be fun, but the best value is not always the most seasonal item. If you are choosing between a one-event costume piece and a versatile accessory, consider how often you will wear each one after October ends.
Use this quick decision rule before you redeem it
- Pick something you will wear often. Daily-use accessories usually beat a novelty item you will equip once.
- Check the full outfit. Preview it with your current hair, face, clothing, and body type before purchasing.
- Do not chase a fake “limited” label. A promotional discount does not automatically make an item rare, tradable, or likely to rise in value.
- Do not spend extra just to use the offer. Confirm the checkout total and do not add another purchase unless you actually want it.
- Keep a record of the terms. Save a screenshot of the offer and final checkout price in case you need to report a billing or inventory issue.
Why some players may not see it
Roblox’s official description of its Marketplace offer test says eligible users are selected automatically. Community posts report different experiences, including accounts that see a free-item offer, a percentage discount, or no offer at all. Those reports suggest offers can differ, but they do not establish a universal eligibility rule or prove that a particular subscription is required.
Do not assume the offer is tied to account age, recent spending, Roblox Plus, or a particular region unless Roblox displays those terms or publishes an official explanation. The evidence available for this article does not establish a complete eligibility formula.
Important scam warning: this is not a free Robux code
Roblox warns users that websites promising free Robux, generators, and suspicious codes can be scams designed to steal passwords or personal information. A legitimate Marketplace offer should appear within Roblox’s own app or website and apply through its normal purchase flow. You should not need to enter your password on another site, complete an unrelated survey, install an extension, or share a two-step verification code.
If a post claims everyone can claim 175 Robux from an external link, treat it with suspicion. The reported promotion is an offer for an eligible avatar item, not proof that 175 Robux has been added to your account balance.

Social post and source context
Roblox’s official developer announcement explains the Marketplace offer test. Community accounts have circulated screenshots of the newer 175-Robux offer, but community reporting is not the same as a platform-wide announcement. Use the social post as a lead, then verify the offer inside your own Roblox account.
Roblox has begun offering select players a one-time-use promotion that allows them to get any avatar item up to 175 Robux entirely free of charge.

Frequently asked questions
Does every Roblox player get the free 175-Robux item offer?
No. Current reports describe an offer for selected accounts. Check the Marketplace and notifications in your own Roblox account; another player’s screenshot does not guarantee eligibility.
Is this the same as receiving 175 Robux in my balance?
Not necessarily. The reported promotion is described as covering an eligible avatar item up to a price limit. It should not be treated as a deposit of 175 Robux into your account balance.
Do I need Roblox Plus to get the offer?
The available official announcement about Marketplace offers says users are selected automatically and does not establish that Roblox Plus is required for this particular reported offer. Follow the eligibility terms shown in your own account.
What are the best items to choose?
Start with a versatile hair, face accessory, hat, or another item you will wear often. Check the live price, compatibility, and offer terms before buying.
What if the offer does not appear?
There is no verified method to force eligibility. Check the official app and Marketplace again, but do not use external claim links, generators, or scripts.
Can I trust a website that asks me to log in to claim the offer?
No. Do not enter your Roblox password or verification codes on third-party pages. Legitimate offers should be visible and redeemable through Roblox’s normal purchase flow.
