Quick answer: Roblox has announced The Hollow for Thursday, October 22, 2026. Several gaming reports list 11:00 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) as the expected launch, which converts to 2:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT). However, the exact hour has not been clearly confirmed in the original teaser reviewed for this article. Treat 11 a.m. PDT as a reported launch estimate—not an official guarantee—until Roblox publishes a live event timestamp.
For US players, the useful move is to save October 22, check Roblox’s official channels on launch day, and avoid planning around unverified game lineups or reward lists. The date and the reported time are two different claims, and keeping them separate prevents confusion when the event is close.
When does Roblox The Hollow start?
The Hollow teaser displays the date “10.22.26,” indicating October 22, 2026 in US date format. Some gaming coverage reports an 11 a.m. PDT launch, but the original teaser itself does not display a clock time. AllThingsHow reports 11 a.m. PDT, while other coverage stresses that the official launch hour remains unannounced. Based on the sources reviewed, the safest wording is that 11 a.m. PDT is the current reported estimate, not a time directly confirmed by the teaser.
Planning estimate: Thursday, October 22, at 11:00 a.m. PDT, if the reports prove accurate. Check Roblox’s live event listing before treating that time as final.
Useful sources: Roblox’s original X announcement, AllThingsHow’s event report, and The Click’s release-date coverage.
The Hollow start time by US time zone
The following table converts the reported 11 a.m. PDT estimate. These are time-zone calculations, not separate confirmations that the event opens at that hour.
| US time zone | October 22 local time | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| Hawaii (HST) | 8:00 a.m. | Converted estimate |
| Alaska (AKDT) | 10:00 a.m. | Converted estimate |
| Pacific (PDT) | 11:00 a.m. | Reported estimate |
| Mountain (MDT) | 12:00 p.m. (noon) | Converted estimate |
| Arizona (most areas, MST) | 11:00 a.m. | Arizona generally does not observe daylight saving time |
| Central (CDT) | 1:00 p.m. | Converted estimate |
| Eastern (EDT) | 2:00 p.m. | Converted estimate |
Most of the continental United States observes daylight saving time on October 22, so PDT, MDT, CDT, and EDT are the usual abbreviations. If Roblox posts a different time, follow the official listing rather than this estimate.
What is confirmed and what is still unknown?
- Announced date: October 22, 2026.
- Exact launch hour: 11 a.m. PDT is reported by some coverage, but should not be described as officially confirmed by the teaser.
- Participating games: a complete official roster was not confirmed in the sources reviewed for this update.
- Quests and rewards: a fully verified task list and reward catalogue were not available in the announcement materials reviewed.
- End date: do not assume a closing date until Roblox publishes one.
A game launching its own Halloween update on October 22 does not automatically mean it is part of The Hollow. Likewise, teaser silhouettes, fan-made graphics, and leak posts are not proof that a particular Roblox experience will host an event quest. Look for a direct statement from Roblox or the game developer, or a link from the official event hub.
How US players can prepare before launch day
- Bookmark official channels. Check Roblox’s original announcement, the Roblox Newsroom, and the live event listing on October 22.
- Wait for a verified roster. Use official hub links or developer announcements rather than unsourced lists of rumored games.
- Follow the in-game instructions. Do not assume older event currencies, portals, or quest mechanics will return unchanged.
- Protect your Roblox account. Never share your password, browser cookies, session token, verification code, or backup codes with a third-party reward site.
- Refresh if the event is not visible. Check for a game update and follow the developer’s official instructions if the event does not appear immediately.
Are DOORS, Piggy, or 99 Nights in the Forest confirmed for The Hollow?
Those names have circulated in community discussion and gaming coverage, but the sources reviewed here do not establish a complete official participant list. DOORS may have separate Halloween content, but a shared date alone does not prove participation in The Hollow. Apply the same standard to Piggy, Dandy’s World, 99 Nights in the Forest, and any other game mentioned in fan theories: wait for Roblox or the developer to confirm the connection.
