Steal An Egg Halloween Egg Hatch Odds: Real Player Data (2026)
Steal An Egg Halloween Egg Hatch Odds: Real Player Data (2026)

Quick answer: what are the Halloween Egg hatch odds?

Launch-week reporting dated October 18, 2026 lists the limited Robux Halloween Egg in Steal An Egg with six pet slots: Pumpkin Fiend (39%), Night Fang (24%), Tombstone Bear (18%), Grave Cerberus (11%), Phantom Dragon (6.5%) and Bone Emperor (0.5%). The same report lists a separate 1% Zombified roll. These figures come from a launch-period in-game shop screenshot reproduced by a third-party guide; we have not independently checked the live shop in a Roblox server. The six pet percentages add up to 99%, so check the current in-game panel before spending Robux.

Important: we could not find a public, auditable dataset containing a large number of individual player hatch attempts. This guide separates screenshot evidence from community reporting and probability calculations. It does not invent a sample size or pretend unverified discussion is measured player data.

Halloween Egg odds at a glance

Pet or outcome Reported chance Evidence status
Pumpkin Fiend 39% Launch-period shop screenshot, reported
Night Fang 24% Launch-period shop screenshot, reported
Tombstone Bear 18% Launch-period shop screenshot, reported
Grave Cerberus 11% Launch-period shop screenshot, reported
Phantom Dragon 6.5% Launch-period shop screenshot, reported
Bone Emperor 0.5% Launch-period shop screenshot, reported
Zombified variant 1% separate roll Reported separately; check live wording

The six pet-slot figures total 99%, not 100%. That may reflect a missing percentage point, rounding, or an incomplete transcription; the evidence available for this article does not establish which. We have not silently changed a displayed value to force the total to 100%.

Do not confuse the two Halloween eggs

Update 9 has two different Halloween egg routes. The limited Robux Halloween Egg appears in the main shop. The Halloween Dimension Egg is purchased with 2,250 Candy Corn in the event area. Their reward pools and displayed percentages differ, so copying one egg’s odds into the other’s guide can mislead players.

A launch-period screenshot of the Candy Corn egg shows five slots at 51%, 24%, 18%, 6.5% and 0.5%, which total 100%. The matching 0.5% rate does not mean the two eggs contain the same pets.

What a 0.5% hatch chance really means

A 0.5% chance is equivalent to a 1-in-200 chance on each independent hatch. That is an average rate, not a promise that one rare pet appears every 200 eggs. A player can get lucky immediately or go hundreds of attempts without seeing the rare outcome.

Chance of at least one 0.5% drop Approximate hatches
50% 139
90% 460
95% 598

These estimates use 1 − (1 − p)n, with p = 0.005. They are mathematical estimates based on the reported rate, not observed player results or guarantees. If the in-game rate differs, the estimates change. A separate 1% outcome would require about 299 independent attempts to reach a 95% chance of seeing it at least once, assuming that reported rate is accurate.

At a true 0.5% rate, even 100 attempts have about a 60.6% chance of producing zero successes. Not seeing Bone Emperor after 100 hatches does not, by itself, prove a bug or false odds.

How to collect real player hatch data

To test whether displayed odds match actual results, players need to record all attempts—not just screenshots of lucky hatches. A useful sample should include egg type, date, total attempts, every outcome, and evidence where possible.

  1. Keep egg pools separate. Do not combine the Robux Halloween Egg with the Candy Corn Halloween Dimension Egg.
  2. Record every attempt. Log the total hatches and count each pet or variant, including common results.
  3. Keep evidence. Use dated screenshots or unedited recordings; hide private account details before sharing.
  4. Deduplicate reports. One clip reposted by several accounts is still one hatch.
  5. Publish the denominator. “Three Bone Emperors found” means little without the total number of attempts.
  6. Compare cautiously. Random variation is normal, particularly for a 0.5% result. A small sample cannot validate or disprove the displayed rate.

How the Halloween event fits together

The Halloween Dimension opened with Update 9 and includes Graveyard, Haunted Swamp and Abandoned Manor, with 18 biome pets reported across those areas. Players can collect Candy Corn and exchange it for the separate Halloween Dimension Egg. Echo’s quest and the Phantom Express are part of the wider event, but they should not be confused with the Robux egg’s hatch table.

Is buying a large Robux bundle worth it?

The launch-week screenshot reported bundle prices of 99 Robux for one egg, 249 for three, 799 for ten and 3,499 for fifty. Larger bundles lower the average cost per egg, but they do not improve the chance per hatch unless the game explicitly says so. A discount is not the same as a better rare-drop rate.

Before buying, compare the price and odds in your own live server. Limited-event shops can change, and launch-day screenshots may not reflect a later balance update. Do not buy a bundle because a post claims a rare pet is “guaranteed” unless the game itself clearly states a guarantee.

What is confirmed—and what is not?

  • Reported: the launch-week Robux egg screenshot lists six pet chances from 39% down to 0.5%, plus a separate 1% Zombified chance.
  • Reported: the Candy Corn egg screenshot lists 51%, 24%, 18%, 6.5% and 0.5%.
  • Not independently verified here: the current live shop still displays exactly the same percentages.
  • Not established: a public raw dataset large enough to independently validate the probabilities.
  • Not guaranteed: that any player will receive a rare pet after a specific number of attempts.

We will update this guide if a dated developer statement or a reproducible, well-documented player dataset changes the evidence. Until then, the safest source for a purchase decision is the odds panel displayed in your own game.

Frequently asked questions

What is the rarest pet in the Steal An Egg Halloween Egg?

Launch-week coverage lists Bone Emperor at 0.5% for the Robux Halloween Egg. Confirm the name and chance in the live shop because event details can change.

Is the Zombified chance included in the six pet percentages?

Coverage describes it as a separate 1% roll. The six listed pet percentages total 99%, so the published numbers do not fully reconcile to 100%.

How many eggs do I need to hatch Bone Emperor?

There is no guaranteed number. If the chance is truly 0.5% per independent hatch, the probability of at least one success reaches about 50% after 139 attempts and 95% after 598 attempts.

Are the Robux Halloween Egg and Halloween Dimension Egg the same?

No. The Robux egg is sold in the main shop; the Halloween Dimension Egg is purchased with Candy Corn. Their reward pools and displayed odds differ.

Does community hatch data prove the odds are wrong?

Not by itself. Reliable analysis needs a large, deduplicated record of successful and unsuccessful attempts, separated by egg type and supported by evidence.

Sources and methodology

Prepared October 18, 2026. We compared launch-week coverage and visible shop screenshots, separated the two egg pools, checked the arithmetic, and calculated the number of independent attempts needed to reach selected probabilities. We did not conduct a live in-game hatch experiment or claim access to private player records.
